Your information matters

Privacy Policy.

We attach great importance to the protection of your data and privacy. In order to fully inform you about the use of personal data, we ask you to take note of the following data protection information.

Personal data

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We, therefore, process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

When you visit our website, your IP address, start and end of the session are recorded for the duration of this session. This is technically required and thus represents a legitimate interest iSv Art 6 para 1 lit f DSGVO. Unless otherwise regulated below, this data will not be further processed by us.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. If you disable cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web analysis and privacy policy

We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimize our website as well as advertising measures. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States). Google processes website usage data on our behalf and is contractually committed to measures to ensure the confidentiality of the processed data.

During your website visit, the following data is recorded, among others:

  • Pages viewed

  • The achievement of “website goals” (for example, contact requests and newsletter sign-ups)

  • Your behaviour on the pages (for example, clicks, scrolling behaviour, and dwell time)

  • Your approximate location (country and city)

  • Technical information such as browser, Internet provider, terminal device and screen resolution

  • Your IP address (in shortened form, so that no clear assignment is possible)

  • Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or advertising medium you came to us)

This data is transferred to a Google server in the USA. In doing so, Google observes the data protection provisions of the “EU-US Privacy Shield” agreement.

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognized during future website visits.

The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.

If you do not agree with the collection, you can prevent it with the one-time installation of the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics.

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Use of Google re-marketing

In addition, we also use the remarketing function of Google. This allows us to play personalized advertising to you on suitable advertising spaces on other websites, based on what interests you have shown on our website. This option is limited to a maximum of 18 months.

For more information, please see Google’s privacy policy. You can prevent interest-based advertising by installing this browser plugin.

Right to information

With regard to your data stored by us, you are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to us at office@divu.tech or the Austrian data protection authority.
